Organisers announce dates for inter airport China and inter airport India

Mack Brooks Exhibitions, organisers of the inter airport series of exhibitions for airport equipment, technology, design and services, have now finalised the dates for the events in China 2010 and India 2011: The 4th inter airport China will take place from 15 - 17 September 2010 in Beijing. After two successful events held in New Delhi, the 3rd inter airport India will be held in Mumbai, from 7 - 9 March 2011.

With 3,000 trade visitors and 85 exhibitors from 15 countries, the previous inter airport China, held in December last year, was a thorough success. Chinese industry professionals praised the role of the exhibition in providing China’s airport administrators with a comprehensive overview of what is available internationally.

To spur domestic demand and offset the impact of the global economic crises, China’s government has now announced a RMB 4,000 billion investment package, mainly for construction and infrastructure projects. 400 billion of the investment package are designed to be spent on the construction and expansion of airports. Major projects include the construction of the 2nd Beijing Capital Airport (jump-start in 2010, total investment: RMB 35 billion); the construction of Kunming New Airport (total investment: RMB 23 billion); the expansions of Guangzhou Airport and Chengdu Airport (total investment for each: RMB 14 billion) and the expansion of Xian Xianyang Int’s Airport (total investment: RMB 10 billion).

India’s government has also taken steps to facilitate the expansion of the country’s national and international airports. Passenger traffic in India is still growing at above average rates, implicating a huge demand for airport construction and modernisation. In this fast-growing airport market inter airport India 2008 was regarded as highly successful by exhibitors and visitors alike. Officially supported by the Indian Ministry of Civil Aviation and the Airport Authority of India, 115 exhibiting companies from 20 countries and 1,900 industry professionals took part in the event.

inter airport India 2011 is organised by Mack Brooks Exhibitions and its partner in India, InterAds Brooks. Mack Brooks Exhibitions has long-standing expertise in organising trade exhibitions for the airport industry, most notably through their inter airport Europe exhibitions. The 17th inter airport Europe will take place from 6-9 October 2009 in Munich, Germany.
