ICE – International Converting Exhibition
Leading international and domestic companies already signed up for ICE Asia 2010 in Shanghai
Leading European and American suppliers of the converting industry have already confirmed their participation at the next ICE Asia, which will take place from 17-19 March 2010, at the Shanghai Expo Mart. Companies like BMB/Kroenert, Polytype and Davis Standard, together with important domestic suppliers, such as Gawan and Skyway, will ensure that ICE Asia 2010 will again be a major industry event for the Chinese converting market.
ICE Asia 2010 will showcase a comprehensive range of machinery, materials, systems and services for paper, film and foil converting: materials, coating/laminating, drying/curing, slitting/rewinding, treating, printing machinery, measurement/control, finishing, toll coating, accessories, waste removal and software.
The first International Converting Exhibition in China, which took place in January 2008, attracted more than 100 exhibitors from Europe, the USA and Asia. Some 2,000 trade visitors from China and neighbouring countries attended the event. Both exhibitors and visitors judged the exhibition as highly successful and many companies have already signed up for the coming event.
“Despite the global economic crisis, Asia, and in particular China, is still one of the biggest consumers of converted paper, film and foil products in the world,” explains Tom Ho, Exhibition Director ICE Asia on behalf of the organisers, Mack Brooks Exhibitions. “ICE Asia, with its specialised exhibition profile, offers suppliers in the converting industry an ideal platform to form business contacts and find new partners in this dynamic market.”
“With a good blend of domestic and international exhibitors, and highly qualified trade visitors the show is again set for success. In order to attract a large number of industry experts and decision makers to ICE Asia, we have built strong partnerships with the relevant associations in China, in addition to our comprehensive visitor campaign,” says Tom Ho.
ICE Asia 2010 will be held at the Shanghai Expo Mart, a modern exhibition centre located in the centre of Shanghai and not far from the domestic airport. The organisers offer attractive exhibition packages to make participating at ICE Asia as convenient as possible.
Companies interested in exhibiting at ICE Asia 2010, will find detailed information on the show website www.ice-x-china.com or can contact the organisers at info@ice-x-asia.com.
ICE Asia, held from 17-19 March 2010 at the Shanghai Expo Mart, is part of a series of trade exhibitions for the paper, film and foil converting industry. Later next year, ICE South America will be held for the first time from 1-3 September 2010 at the Transamerica Expo Center in São Paulo. This year, Europe’s leading exhibition for paper, film and foil converting, ICE Europe, will take place from 24-26 November 2009 at Munich’s M,O,C.
