Mack Brooks Exhibitions announces the acquisition of Fastener Fairs Limited
International show organiser, Mack Brooks Exhibitions Group, has acquired the entire shareholding of Fastener Fairs Limited for an undisclosed figure.
Fastener Fair, which takes place in Stuttgart, Germany, is Europe’s largest trade exhibition for fastener technology: 625 exhibitors and some 6,000 visitors attended the record exhibition in October 2009.

Although the airport industry has been experiencing a difficult economic situation, manysuppliers of airport equipment are now reportedly taking very positive action to increase activity in growing markets, such as China, according to the exhibitor survey carried out at inter airport Europe 2009. While the European event, held in October last year in Munich, Germany, was a big success - attracting some 543 exhibitors and over 12,000 international trade visitors - it is clear that China too has become a renewed focus for new business.

Sheet metal working specialists met in Kielce
From 27–29 October 2009, Kielce was the meeting point for sheet metal working professionals from all over Poland. The 2nd BLECH Polska, Exhibition for Sheet Metal Working, by the organisers Mack Brooks Exhibitions, was a thorough success: 1,200 trade visitors, mainly from Poland, and 60 exhibitors from 12 countries participated in the show.
ICE Europe 2009 closes with record results
The 6th International Converting Exhibition ICE Europe ended with record numbers of visitors, exhibitors and floor space. From 24-26 November 2009, a total of 5,350 trade visitors from 63 countries were able to discover a wide range of innovative products and services for paper, film and foil converting at Munich’s M,O,C, exhibition centre.

With a 20% increase in exhibitor numbers and a 30% increase in exhibition space ICE Europe 2009 is bigger than ever. The four halls of the M,O,C, Exhibition Centre are fully booked.
Leading international suppliers confirmed participation
Leading European, American and Asian suppliers of the converting industry will ensure that ICE Asia 2010 will again be a highlight event for the Chinese converting market. Some 50 companies have already signed up for ICE Asia which will take place from 17-19 March 2010, at the Shanghai Expo Mart. Half of these exhibitors are Western companies, including leading suppliers like BMB/Kroenert, Davis-Standard, Herbert Olbrich, Polytype and PSA.

Trade show for airport equipment ends with highly positive results
inter airport Europe 2009 closed its doors this afternoon, after four successful exhibition days. The 17th International Exhibition for Airport Equipment, Technology, Design & Services took place for the first time at the exhibition grounds of the Munich Trade Fair Centre. In total, 12,035 trade visitors from some 120 countries came to visit the leading exhibition for the airport industry. 543 exhibitors from 29 countries put a large number of innovative products and services on display.

The first BLECH Russia exhibition, which took place from 10 – 13 March 2009 at the Lenexpo exhibition centre in St. Petersburg, was a thorough success. Industry leaders and many small and medium-sized enterprises from Poland and abroad made use of this new industry platform to gain valuable contacts and develop their customer relations. For many companies it was a first step into Poland, where the sheet metal working sector is developing quickly and is continuously gaining in importance on the international market.

The Mack Brooks Exhibitions Group has announced the launch of a new airport event, designed for the commercial planning and development of airports and airport cities. AIRTROPOLIS Expo focuses upon maximising the non-aviation commercial opportunities as well as upon the management of property and development of real estate. The event is scheduled to take place from 13 – 15 October 2008 at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre, Malaysia.

The first Exporail India exhibition for railway technology and systems, which took place at the Pragati Maidan Exhibition Centre in New Delhi from 16 to 18 October, was judged a great success by its participants. Reaction to the event was so positive that organisers Inter Ads-Brooks have been asked by exhibitors and by India’s Ministry of Railways to arrange a second show next year. Exporail India 2008 will therefore take place in November 2008.
