Largest ever Chemspec India highlights buoyant fine and speciality chemicals industry in India

The fourteenth edition of India’s leading fine and speciality chemicals exhibition concludes with positive results

Chemspec India 2018 took place from 25-26 April, at the Bombay Exhibition Centre in Mumbai. The exhibition highlighted the fantastic potential of the market in India and welcomed both domestic and international companies. International exhibitors came from Germany, Great Britain, France, China, USA and Japan. 318 exhibitors were on hand to promote their products and innovations to a highly qualified audience, with many already reserving larger locations for the next edition of the event.

11,541 visitors attended the exhibition, representing an increase over the two-day event. Exhibitors were quick to praise the high-quality audience and the increased number of international visitors. Visitors from Europe, China and South East Asia, the Middle East and the USA ensured Chemspec India 2018 was a truly upbeat networking occasion.

Co-located events continued to grow and provide value to Chemspec India. The ninth edition of ChemProTech India, International Exhibition for Chemical Processing Technology, Equipment and Supplies, showcased broader chemical engineering and related services. ChemLogistics India, International Exhibition on Chemical Warehousing, Transportation & Logistics, took place for the fourth time, highlighting the immense opportunity for logistics and warehousing within the industry. The third edition of HPIC India displayed the enormous potential of the home and personal care industries in India.

Moreover, a high-quality conference and seminar programme took place alongside the exhibition. This comprehensive programme featured high profile speakers talking on a variety of topics. These included Surfactants, Home and Personal Care, Agrochemicals, Logistics, Process Technology and Water Treatment. These high profile features were well attended throughout the two days.
