Mack Brooks Exhibitions have announced that BLECH Nordic, the dedicated sheet metal working exhibition for the Nordic countries, will adopt a four years cycle. The first BLECH Nordic was held in October 2011 at Stockholmsmässan in Stockholm and was a thorough success. A total of 129 exhibitors from 21 countries and 5,450 trade visitors from 31 countries attended the event.
“The overall feedback we had for the first BLECH Nordic was very positive. We have filled a void by offering a targeted industry event for a market with a distinctive demand for high-end products and cutting-edge technology. However, while in growth markets such as India, China and Russia, there is a definite demand for a biannual sheet metal working exhibition, we feel that in the well-established, high-tech markets of the Nordic countries a four years cycle for this industry event is more suitable. The next BLECH Nordic is, therefore, planned to take place in autumn 2015 in Sweden,” says Stephen Brooks, Chairman Mack Brooks Exhibitions.
BLECH Nordic is part of the series of BLECH events that Mack Brooks Exhibitions is organising in selected target markets. The dedicated sheet metal working events cover all sectors of the sheet metal manufacturing process, including sheet metal supply; tubes and sections; metal-forming and bending solutions; stamping; pressing; automation; flexible manufacturing systems; cutting; punching; joining/welding; tooling; laser technology; CAD/CAM; finishing/coating; quality assurance and material handling.
Next year, BLECH events will be held in Russia, India and China: BLECH Russia 2013 will take place from 12-14 March 2013 in St Petersburg; BLECH India 2013, from 17-20 April 2013 in Mumbai and the first BLECH China will be held from 14-16 May 2013 in Suzhou.
This year, from 23-27 October 2012, the world’s leading exhibition for sheet metal working technology, EuroBLECH, will take place again in Hanover, Germany. It will be the 22nd edition of Mack Brooks Exhibitions’ global flagship event for the sheet metal working industry. More than 1,500 exhibitors from 38 countries will present a wide range of innovative technology and manufacturing processes. A total of 61,500 trade visitors from all over the world attended the previous event.
