Chemspec Europe 2022 starts next week

With a highly specialised exhibition profile, the event will gather the fine and speciality chemicals industry, offering a marketplace for products sourcing, networking opportunities and an extensive conference programme.

Next week, from 31 May – 1 June 2022, the 35th International Exhibition for Fine and Speciality Chemicals will take place as a live event at Messe Frankfurt, Germany.

It is the first time since before the pandemic that key players of the sector will be able to meet face-to-face, network and exchange expertise in a professional environment. Liljana Goszdziewski, Chemspec Europe Portfolio Director, on behalf of Mack-Brooks Exhibitions, comments: "For the first time since 2019, we are thrilled to welcome the industry face-to-face at Chemspec Europe again. We are looking forward to supporting the sector and our customers with plenty of learning opportunities, facilitating networking and enabling new business trades – in a safe but hugely valuable marketplace. We want to thank our loyal exhibitors, partners, suppliers and colleagues for their support in the last few months".

Covering a net exhibition space of 5,300 m2, some 270 exhibitors from 28 countries will showcase at Chemspec Europe a full spectrum of substances and solutions for various applications and industries: pharmaceuticals, agrochemicals, polymers, food and feed ingredients, flavours and fragrances, pigments and dyes, paints and coatings, household and cleaning chemicals, adhesives and sealants, bio-based chemicals, green chemicals, leather and textile chemicals, electronics and many more.

A comprehensive conference programme

Featured at Chemspec Europe 2022, a wide range of free-to-attend conferences will offer further insights into significant industry developments and key strategies adopted by industry leaders to succeed and grow. Mack-Brooks Exhibitions announces the conference streams that will shape the sessions' agenda. The Chemspec Europe Lecture Theatre will present sessions centred on ongoing topics within the fine and speciality chemicals industry, such as sustainable innovations, flow reactor technology, AI, and quantum computing applications. The Regulatory Services Lecture Theatre programme will cover the range of regulatory challenges facing those in the global chemical supply chain. The Pharma Lecture Theatre will highlight trends, challenges and outlooks of the pharmaceutical industry and will also host the Pharma Outsourcing Best Practices Panel. The Panel is composed of leaders from both the Pharmaceutical Industry and CROs and CDMOs engaged in Contract Research and custom synthesis of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API). The Agrochemical Lecture Theatre, organised in association with IHS Markit Crop Science, will review the current market and look to offer insights into future developments. Also hosted at the Agrochemical Lecture Theatre and organised in partnership with the European Chemistry Partnering, Innovative Startups will be invited to the stage to present their new ideas and innovations.
