Registration Opens for Fastener Fair USA
Registration is now open for Fastener Fair USA, America’s leading fastener and fixing exhibition for the full supply chain, taking place May 22-23, 2019 at the Cobo Center in Detroit, MI.
Fastener Fair USA brings together manufacturers, distributors, suppliers, OEMs, and end users. It will be the meeting place for fastener professionals to see the latest technology and solutions, receive unparalleled education for all levels and industries, and make valuable connections, all in a convenient location in the heart of the Midwest manufacturing region.
A Chance to See the Latest Technology and Solutions
More than 300 exhibitors from around the world will showcase products, equipment, and solutions at the Detroit show. Attendees can easily discover and connect with manufacturers and distributors of industrial fastener, fixing, and joining solutions, and collaborate to solve product design business challenges. No matter where someone is in the supply chain, they’ll appreciate seeing the latest technologies, innovations, and solutions for their business all in one
Deanna Wall, Sales Manager for Ken Forging, Inc. said, “In addition to seeing our customers at the show, we are eager to announce the new products we have available in stock, as a result of our most recent company acquisition in 2018. The new products include C-Clamps, T-Slot Bolts and additional Custom Forging capabilities.”
“Last year’s show results will be hard to beat,” said Larry Kelly, Business Development Manager, Buckeye Fasteners Company, who has signed on to exhibit again. “However, the fact that it is in Detroit, the auto capital of the U.S., we are looking forward to expanding our presence with those customers. We are married to the show from here on out.”
The floor map, including the full list of exhibitors to date, is available on the Fastener Fair USA website, so visitors can start to plan their visit to make the most of their show experience.
Unique Industry Education and Insights
Fastener Fair USA will offer a unique opportunity to get the latest industry information, forecasts, and technical education with keynotes and breakouts for all levels of experience, industry focus, and visitor segments.
Educational sessions are taught by industry experts like Lammert DeBoer, Global Director of ZinKlad, DecoKlad & XMAPP (Quality Performance Systems) at MacDermid Enthone
Industrial Solutions, Graham Immerman of Machine Metrics, and Derek Dandy of BodyCote S3P. The Metropolitan Fastener Distributor Association and Women in the Fastener Industry will also conduct educational sessions.
New for 2019, the show will feature two stages on the exhibit hall floor to offer concurrent educational tracks targeted to distributors and OEM end-users. In addition, Fastener Training Institute (FTI) will present a pre-show seminar for the second year in a row: Fastening 101 training to newcomers in the industry. Led again by Laurence Claus of NNi Training & Consulting, this year the session will also include information for those in the automotive industry.
FTI will also introduce a new mentoring component where newcomers will be paired up with industry veterans during the show for additional learning, support, and networking.
Unique Opportunity for Industry Networking
This year, the Fastener Fair USA welcome party will take place at the GM Renaissance Center in downtown Detroit. “Connecting with friends and customers is an important aspect of the Fastener Fair experience and our welcome party is a fun way to build those relationships” said Jessica Boweak, exhibition manager. In addition, the Young Fastener Professionals will be sponsoring a Fastener Trivia game in the Networking Lounge on Wednesday of the show.
Located in the Heart of the Midwest Manufacturing Region
Last year, more than 2,300 registrants from a variety of industries including mechanical engineers, product designers, purchasers and R&D personnel packed the exhibit hall looking for solutions to business challenges and exhibitors are already looking forward to what awaits them in Detroit.
“We are excited about the fact that it is in Detroit,” said Andrew Dreger, President/CEO of Angor-Intools, Inc. “It is one of the largest automotive and aerospace manufacturing centers in the U.S. We hope the local companies are going to send not only top-level executives to the show, but the machine operators as well. This is a benefit for their business because the operators get to see what is out there in the market and can take it back and share it within their own company.”
Early-bird show and hotel room registration is open now. Show organizers recommend reserving hotel rooms early, before they sell out. Register by visiting www.fastenerfair.com/usa.
