Showcase for the Indian fine and speciality chemical market concludes with extremely positive results

Chemspec India 2017, the country’s leading exhibition for fine and speciality chemicals, took place from 25-26 April, at the Bombay Exhibition Centre in Mumbai. The exhibition highlighted the fantastic potential of the market in India and welcomed both domestic and international companies. International exhibitors came from; Germany, Great Britain, China, USA, Malaysia, Vietnam, Japan, South Korea and Portugal.

11,500 visitors attended the two-day event, an increase of over 4%, compared to the previous edition. The high quality audience ensured a fantastic atmosphere, as Chemspec India established itself, once again, as the must attend event for the industry. Visitors from all over India, Europe, China and the USA helped to make Chemspec India 2017 a truly upbeat networking occasion as they toured over 300 exhibitors on site. Both exhibitors and visitors commented on the buoyant atmosphere, with many exhibitors registering their interest and reserving space for 2018.

A series of high quality conferences and seminars took place alongside the exhibition. This comprehensive programme featured high profile speakers talking on a variety of topics. These included Surfactants, Home and Personal Care, Agrochemicals, Logistics, Process Technology and Water Treatment. These high profile features were well attended throughout the two days.

Furthermore, the co-located events continued to grow and provide value to Chemspec India. The eighth edition of ChemProTech India, International Exhibition for Chemical Processing Technology, Equipment and Supplies, showcased broader chemical engineering and related services. ChemLogistics India, International Exhibition on Chemical Warehousing, Transportation & Logistics, took place for the third time, highlighting the immense opportunity for logistics and warehousing within the industry. The second edition of HPIC India displayed the enormous potential of the home and personal care industries in India.
